Join RaiseAChild and our agency partner, Stanford Sierra Youth & Families (SSYAF), on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. PDT to learn about the approval process, requirements, and benefits of becoming a resource parent for a child or youth experiencing foster care.

During this orientation, you will learn about:

  • Resource family qualifications
  • Home requirements
  • The Resource Family Approval (RFA) process
  • General information needed to begin your journey as a resource parent

Attendance at this session fulfills the orientation requirement of the Resource Family Approval (RFA) process.
