RaiseAChild online monthly Parent Matching Events are in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS), for the purpose of matching approved resource parents with waiting children and youth in foster care who are asking to be adopted in a permanent, nurturing, and loving home.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
All participants must be Resource Family Approved (RFA) or scheduled to be approved on or before 14 days of this event and provide the name and contact information for your Adoption Social Worker (name, email and phone number).
If you’ve attended a previous matching event and we already have the above information, please email Deyanira Contreras at deyanira@raiseachild.org, to be added to the event without having to fill out this form.
Please note the following
- Your Adoption social is being notified of your attendance and will be notified if you are being considered for a match.
- If DCFS does not have your adoption worker's contact information prior to the event, you cannot be considered for a match at this time.
- If you are an approved family with another county/state, please make sure that your county/state is willing to work with Los Angeles County DCFS.
